Conscious approach to health & eating

Many years ago I came down with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Due to the side effects of a medication. I was so bad with RA that I had to go on Short term disability. I couldn’t climb my stairs to the second floor of my home without such major pain. Which I sleep on my sofa most of the time. Instead of my bed. Getting out of my clothes was crazy pain when unzipping my pants. Unbuttoning my shirts and pants. My elbow unable to bend enough to wash my face. I had wash my face like I shinning my shoes. Like watching shoe shine guy. Buffing out a pair of shoes. The medication I was given to deal with my RA. Caused issues with my kidney. Another side effect.  

Learning about food greatly helped reducing my RA. By changing my food I ate. From Sunday to Wednesday my crazy pain was almost gone. By taking the medication for RA and change my foods. I was able to return back to work by three months. Which I was feeling like I would be in the condition for ever. 

From this experience I’ve learned two major things. Western medicine has its place for many illnesses, but foods and supplements can greatly make huge positive change to peoples health. Along with the right mind set. 

Food and supplements reversed my mother’s Dementia and Thyroid issue. Some of the medication side effects gave her Urinary Track Infections. After change her medication. Changing her diet helped her greatly to remember things again. Thyroid issues were also gone. Having my mother back was a wonderful feeling. Getting out of a chair without help. Then being able to walk out to her porch from the tv room was something else!!!  This is why helping others is a passion for me and a life journey I take for others. 

Eating consciously allows us to establish the right balance of healthy to unhealthy food, and flexibility to adapt, both crucial to maintain our sanity. Overtime, it creates a deeper understanding of one's body, where eating becomes intuitive and we eat according to our body's needs.
